Enable the Disabled 2021 is dedicated to empowering aging individuals affected by dementia to live life to the fullest. Our mission is to assist these mentally and physically hindered individuals allowing them to become more independent, age gracefully with dignity, and live a happy life.

OUR APPROACH:
At Enable the Disabled 2021, we take a holistic and person-centered approach, addressing the diverse needs of aging and disabled individuals. Our approach includes visiting elderly residents in our area every week, engaging them in music, and including them in simple activities like solving puzzles; we also provide them with activity blankets which we have created. We monitor their progress and share them with the facility and their loved ones
OUR IMPACT:
By fostering interactions between our young volunteers and the aging population, we aim to create a meaningful and happy life for the elderly. We work as a cohesive team to create and distribute activity blankets to Southern California nursing homes. This will help disabled individuals regain their mental stability and independence, allowing them to live a fulfilling life.

I am a current student at Arcadia High School. My passion lies within the field of medicine and assisting the elderly.
Through Enable The Disabled 2021, my objective is to provide aging individuals with the resources they need on a global scale, allowing them to live a tranquil life and receive the appropriate necessities.
